These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pentaglir website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pentaglir's website, enrolling in our courses, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or website notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Course Offerings

Pentaglir provides public speaking and communication training through various formats:

Service Availability

We strive to provide consistent service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

3. Course Enrollment

Registration Process

To enroll in courses, you must:

  • Complete the registration form accurately
  • Provide valid contact information
  • Submit required payment
  • Agree to course-specific terms when applicable

Course Requirements

Some courses may have prerequisites or requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet these before enrolling. We reserve the right to move students to more appropriate courses if necessary.

Course Materials

Course materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

4. Payment Terms

Fees and Pricing

Course fees are clearly displayed on our website and must be paid in full unless payment plan options are specifically offered. Prices are subject to change, but enrolled students will pay the price in effect at enrollment.

Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Late Payments

If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend access to course materials
  • Remove you from scheduled sessions
  • Charge late fees as specified in your enrollment agreement

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Student Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made 7+ days before course start date
  • 50% Refund: Cancellations made 3-6 days before course start date
  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 3 days before start date

Pentaglir Cancellations

If we must cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course.

Make-up Sessions

If you miss a session due to illness or emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to provide make-up opportunities, subject to instructor availability and course structure.

6. User Conduct

Expected Behavior

You agree to:

  • Treat instructors and other students with respect
  • Attend sessions punctually and prepared
  • Participate constructively in exercises and discussions
  • Maintain confidentiality of other students' personal information
  • Follow any specific guidelines provided for online sessions

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Disrupt classes or interfere with other students' learning
  • Record sessions without explicit permission
  • Share course materials with non-enrolled individuals
  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior

Consequences

Violation of conduct expectations may result in removal from courses without refund and prohibition from future enrollment.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All course materials, methods, website content, and training materials are the intellectual property of Pentaglir and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use course materials solely for your personal educational purposes during and after course completion.

Your Content

By participating in courses, you may create or share content (presentations, exercises, feedback). You retain ownership but grant us a license to use such content for educational and promotional purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from our training programs.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Acts of third parties or force majeure events
  • Technical failures or service interruptions

9. Termination

By You

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by ceasing to use our services and canceling any future courses according to our cancellation policy.

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay required fees
  • Engage in conduct harmful to other students or our business
  • Provide false or misleading information

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access our services ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. General Provisions

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pentaglir regarding our services.
